  Horrible communication. Doesn't keep the grieving family updated, even when asked over and over. I'd requested multiple times that they let me know when my uncle's obituary would run. No response and I only found it days after it had run because I googled. What?
  
  They needed me to sign some docs and were completely dumbfounded when I asked that the docs be emailed. They keep asking if they could FAX to me (in 2016!). When I insisted they simply scan and email, what they sent appeared to be a photo taken on a phone. Important docs that were completely illegible. How can I be expected to sign them? Finally just gave up and PAID to have it faxed somewhere. Is that really the way to deal with customers??? Couldn't they have paid to have a clean, legible scan made somewhere and sent that to me?
  
  And, on top of that, it's been nearly four weeks since my beloved uncle passed away and I still do not have his cremated remains, and no one at Shaffer will respond to my inquiries.
  
  I would avoid this place at all costs.

  Family-owned Funeral Home in Ozark the only Funeral Home in Ozark that is I've been to so many funerals since I've lived here eight years in Ozark all the funerals I have been to have been really nice the staff at Shaffer's is very nice and I'm not just saying that because I know some of the Shaffer's but they are really truly a nice family-owned Funeral Home in Ozark here recently I've been to the funeral of a friend of mine that was a reserve Deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office they did a great job at his funeral I even been to funerals for Ozark Hillbillies 2 including one that still hurts me today to talk about a young girl only 16 years old nobody ever would have thought that young for a funeral especially for a good basketball player like she was a lot of hillbilly fans know who I'm talking about but I'm not mentioning any names

  They have been serving our family since I can remember. They have always went above and beyond to take care of everyone. A very professional group of people.
